The Billing Supervisor is responsible for the direction of function and procedure that ensure that all insurance claims are billed correctly and followed in a timely manner to ensure prompt resolution of the claims. The Billing Supervisor is responsible for supervision of all billing staff.
Associate's Degree in business related field or four years of experience in a medical billing office. One year of supervisory experience required. Preferred knowledge of FQHC billing procedures.
Phlebotomist/ Lab Technician
The Phlebotomist performs venipuncture on patients for obtaining blood specimens and collects and prepares these and other specimens for laboratory testing. The Phlebotomist is responsible for in-house lab tests.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: CPR/First Aid Certification preferred, Medical Terminology preferred.
The Dental Assistant is responsible for a variety of technical duties while assisting the dentist in the examination and treatment of patients. Working chair-side, the Dental Assistant hands instruments and materials to the dentist and dries the patient's mouth with suction equipment during treatments. The Dental Assistant performs related duties involved in the care and maintenance of dental instruments, equipment and supplies. The Dental Assistant may also mix filling compounds, take impressions of teeth, and provide patients with postoperative instructions.
Desired Skills: Dental Radiology and CPR/First Aid certification.
The Panel Manager, under the direction of the Clinical Information Specialist, provides clinical support to the provider team directed towards the prevention of disease and promotion of health using professional clinical support for quality patient care.
The Panel Manager tracks the health of the population of patients assigned to a provider panel. This includes proactively tracking prevention activities, screening and chronic disease monitoring and providing patient education. Manage team communication including team phone messages and in-basket as well as patient communication and follow-up. Perform general provider support duties as needed to support clinic flow.
Clinical Informaiton Specialist
The Clinical Information Specialist supports physicians, clinicians and health care workers by providing continuous support, troubleshooting and identifying opportunities for clinical information system improvements. He/she will promote future and present system functionality by designing, building and testing clinical information systems.
The Janitorial Specialist is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary working environment for all staff, patients, and visitors.
Key responsibilities include: complies with State and Federal laws on cleaning, sanitation, and safety, reports safety problems and needed repairs to the Maintenance Generalist, clean and sanitize bathrooms, clean, mop, and vacuum floors, empty trash, clean and polish fixtures, remove recycling materials, dust, and performs other duties as assigned.
