Do I have to have an appointment to be seen?
Yes. You must make
an appointment in order to be seen in both the medical and
dental offices. Patients who do not make an appointment will
not be seen. Missing an appointment or arriving late for a
scheduled appointment may limit your ability to receive care.
I don’t have health insurance but I need to see a doctor
or dentist. Will you see me? Yes. Appointments
may be available to anyone, regardless of the ability to pay.

I have
health insurance and I need to make an appointment. Will you
see me? Yes. While it is true that our primary
purpose is to provide primary and preventive healthcare to
those with limited means, appointments may be available to
anyone. You must make an appointment to be seen. Appointments
are based upon provider availability.
How do
I make an appointment? Please call the clinic
nearest you for an appointment: Klamath Open Door dental office

Open Door (541/783-2292); or Sprague Valley Open Door (541/880-2068
or 541/353-2393).
Do I have
to pay for my visit? Yes. You or your health
insurance carrier will be billed for all services provided
and you must pay for your portion of those services.
Can you
help me to pay my medical or dental bill?
Yes. You may be eligible for our sliding fee discount, depending
on your family size and proof of income.
What will
happen if I don’t pay my bill? Failure
to pay your bill or to keep your appointment may interfere
with your ability to receive care. Your account may be referred
to a collections agency if you fail to make timely payment.
I don’t
understand my bill. Who can explain it to me?
Our billing staff is happy to help explain your statement.

What do
I do if I am sick and the clinic is closed?
A nurse triage specialist can be reached whenever our clinics
is closed simply by dialing the regular office phone number.
Can you
help me with prescription medication and refills? Please
call your pharmacy first for all prescription requests. If
you call us directly, you will be instructed to call your
pharmacy. Please allow up to 3 business days to complete any
refill requests. Prescription medication assistance for those
with limited or no prescription medication insurance is available.
Where are
your clinics? Can I go to any of them? For
your convenience, we have three clinics in Klamath County:
Klamath Open Door, Klamath Falls; Chiloquin Open Door, Chiloquin;
and Sprague Valley Open Door, Bly. Please call the clinic
